Espiau's has turned into THE place to be for a Dog show. The Dogs first appearance here in February was AMAZING and it was all due to the fans. You guys created a wonderful, memorable night for everyone. The restaurant and all the staff were overwhelmed by your generosity and kindness. They said it was a pleasure to serve you.
Well, The Dogs are back and, as before, if you want a seat on the patio, it is highly recommended...no, check that...you MUST call early to make a reservation. If you show up that night without a reservation, there are options for dinner and listening but they won't be on the patio. Remember, this is a family-friendly venue and a family-friendly time. They start at 8:00PM and end when they stop. It is pretty much up to you how long they play. Kids of all ages are welcome. Come early for their great Mexican food and stay the night for a time machine experience through music.

Description
Espiau is easily pronounced by saying the letters S-P-O separately. Pierre Espiau, an early pioneer in Pomona, was born in Lannepax, department of Gers, France, in 1861. He settled in Pomona in 1890 where he was a grape grower and winemaker. With prohibition in 1919, he closed the winery and entered the retail business that, over the years, has evolved to the present day restaurant, which bears his name.
Because of the geographical location and the fact that a maternal grandmother, Sara Martinez, was a descendant of Don Ricardo Vejar, one of the grantees of the 20,000 acre land grant from Mexican Governor B. Alvarado (later called Pomona Valley), Mexican food is proudly served.
